What is the difference between PF Gold and your standard compensation service?

You purchase PF Gold before you fly. From then on, we automatically monitor your flight and, if something goes wrong, you receive 100% of your compensation with no commission deducted.Our compensation service, on the other hand, is used after a flight disruption has already occurred. You submit your case to us and, if successful, we deduct a commission. PF Gold is therefore not an alternative to our compensation service – it is protection you arrange beforehand.

How late can I purchase PF Gold?

PF Gold must be purchased before departure. If your flight has already been delayed or cancelled, you cannot purchase PF Gold retroactively. In that case, our compensation service can help you.

What happens if my flight operates normally?

Nothing – and you won’t hear from us either. PF Gold is protection: you pay a small amount so that if something does go wrong, you’re covered and don’t have to deal with the claim yourself.

Do I have to submit my claim myself?

No. We automatically monitor your flight and proactively contact you as soon as you have a valid claim. You don’t need to keep track of deadlines or communicate with the airline yourself.

Are my additional expenses reimbursed as well?

Yes. Documented additional expenses resulting from the flight disruption – such as hotel accommodation, meals or costs resulting from a missed connecting flight – are reimbursed in addition to your compensation, with no upper limit.
