The German Lufthansa AG is one of the biggest airlines in the world. Headquarters are in Cologne and the home airport is in Frankfurt am Main. In 1926, the German Aero Lloyd AG and the Junkers Luftverkejr AG merged under the name of Deutsche Luft Hansa AG. At this point, the crane in a circle was already the logo. Some cities, e.g. Rosenheim, are directly connected to the route network so that there is no need for purchasing an extra ticket.
